Shaun of the Dead

A funny zombie movie that is at the height of the genre. I recommend it for british comedy fans and anyone looking for a good laugh.

Ghost in the Shell 2

The first Ghost in the Shell was a mediocre as a whole but had a few great scenes. The second movie is just mediocre. Maybe one really good scene, but none that I would call great. Look around and you can find articles about the first movie being a flop everywhere but the U.S. so the sequel was made specifically for the U.S. Market. and I think it shows.

Art Theatres

The worst thing about seeing a movie in an art house is all of the crappy trailers before the one good movie.

Cellular

I am really disappointed in Kim Bassinger and William H. Macy. Their acting in this movie is not terrible, but I would not have expected either of them to sign onto such a bad movie.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

This movie is exactly what it was meant to be. It is a video game come to life on the big screen. With the same type of simple plot and extremely shallow characters this movie attempts to deliver the action and excitement of its video game counterpart. I think it fails on all count, but it is not terrible. To sum it up I would say that mediocre and stereotypical make for a fitting description.

Garden State

This is a great movie. Very emotional. Natalie Portman at her best.

Papparazzi

Don't waste your time. The production value of this movie is total garvage. Everything from makeup to lighting to editing and acting. Just terrible. In the laughable reality of the script anyone can listen into any specific cell phone call with a simple scanner but there are also anonymous disposable cell phones. Oh, and blank firing stage guns are registered with the ATF. How stupid can these people be.

Good story though.

Firefly

Shiny! I met Jewel and those other guys from Firefly the TV series and coming soon, the movie Serenity. Got my signed photos in hand.

Jewel Staite is really cute and full of confidence. She is going to be a very popular actress if she wants to be.

Crowds

I really don't like crowds. I am working hard on being more of a people person, and I think I have made some improvement when one on one. Or even when in small groups I am doing better. But in a crowd with a bunch of people I get really anxious.

That anxiousness becomes frustration which expresses itself as anger. Pointless, anti-productive, unaimed, anger that pushes other people away from me.

Not sure how to turn that off. It was the real source of my problems at Fry's the other day. It is my only problem at DragonCon where I want to talk to people who are talking to me, but my mind is realling and I am unable to form a complete sentence.

Pan and Scan Stupidity

Are there really any morons out there that prefer pan & scan over letterbox? Any video that is p&s hould be required to state that on the cover, the back, and the spine of the box. Then the cashier should point it out to you when your about to buy it.
